Summary: Perfect house for a long weekend exploring the Speculator area! Very clean and up to date but still feels like an escape. Walking distance from everything in town and countless hikes and things to see within a 10 minute drive.Very comfortable beds, super clean and functional kitchen with everything you could need. Shower, sauna, everything was top notch. If you've stayed at other places in the Adirondacks, you know some places can be a bit worn out but this is a really well kept property. Owners were helpful with initial information and a few questions we had about the town. Digging for a negative, its closer to the street so you hear some light traffic but the listing makes no secret about the location. Was never a problem for us and we felt secluded in the back with the fire pit going and we weren't worried about having our dog free in the back.Absolutely rebooking the next time we're in town!

Summary: Amy was an excellent host ! She went above and beyond to host our family for a wedding. The house was perfect, communication was easy, and and this made our stay in Speculator very enjoyable

Summary: House has a lot of character both inside and outside. Very clean and well organized with nice touches like an espresso machine in addition to a coffee maker. It’s in close walking distance to a pub and a diner and a grocery and public beach on the lake (for some of these we used the bikes that come with the house just for fun). We took advantage of all of it and thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in Speculator.

Summary: I loved everything about my stay. The home was absolutely beautiful 😍 the area was beautiful and the scenery was breathtaking. Will definitely love to stay again. Amy was so attentive, she had everything covered. She was absolutely a pleasure to communicate with.

Summary: My Family and I really enjoyed the cabin. It was located walking distance to shopping, restaurants and the beach area. Amy gave us great recommendations. The cabin was clean organized and charming. Definitely recommend.

Summary: This stylishly renovated Adirondack home was well stocked with necessities, including fire wood for the pretty backyard fire circle. It was immaculate and there were ample towels and nice linens. The kitchen was well equipped, however no microwave if that's important to you. Also no television which is a positive thing for connecting with the Adirondacks. The host was prompt in answering questions and helpful with suggestions.
